De Caff: The newest cafe in Dalbeattie which opened in May 2008. Serves coffees and teas, tray bakes, and also lunchtime snacks of soup, sandwiches, toasties. etc.

The Tee Room: At Craigielands Golf Course as you leave the A710 for Kippford. The tea room sells teas and coffee, home baking, locally made ice cream  and beer, and also light lunches. Fully licensed. Tel: 07760 230959.

East Barcloy Tearoom:  Situated on East Barcloy Farm, Colvend. The Tearoom is in a lovely conservatory in fine rural setting, with lots of outdoor tables in the pretty garden for fine weather. Scrumptious home baking and there is also a Barn shop which sells Portuguese pottery, hand loom weaving, leather goods and Portuguese Olive Oil. There is a museum of old farm implements and strawberries are sold in season.  Peacocks.
