| Dalbeattie: Dalbeattie Golf Course. Recently this 9 hole parkland course has been considerably extended and consists of seven par 4's and two par 3's. Visitors are welcome any day of the week at Dalbeattie Golf Club. The club steward is in attendance during the day and the office is usually manned during working hours, so there should be someone around to welcome visitors and book them in. |

| Kippford: Craigieknowes is a nine-hole, par three golf course in a scenic location. Short yet challenging at the same time, it is ideal for beginners and testing enough for more experienced players. Careful selection of club is important if you want to shoot a good score. | Sandyhills: Southerness Golf Course, a few miles further on from Sandyhills on the A710 Dalbeattie to Dumfries coast road, was designed by McKenzie Ross and built in 1947. It is a Championship Links course, measuring 6566 yards from the white tees and 6106 from the yellow tees. Southerness Golf Course is situated on the Solway Coast giving panoramic views of the Solway Firth, the Cumbrian Coast and the Lake District to the south, and the Galloway Hills to the West. The terrain is level allowing for easy walking with no hills to climb. |
